Treatment modes of squamous cell carcinoma include surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and so on. 1. Surgery: Radical surgery is the first choice for early and middle stage squamous cell carcinoma patients who are eligible for surgery without distant metastasis, and lymph node dissection is performed according to lymph node metastasis, which is the only treatment that can achieve a radical effect. After surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy can be assisted. If some middle and advanced squamous lung cancer patients have localized pressure symptoms, palliative surgery can also be used to relieve the symptoms. 2. Chemotherapy: chemotherapy is a kind of systemic treatment, which can be divided into neoadjuvant chemotherapy, postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy and palliative chemotherapy. Commonly used chemotherapeutic drugs include paclitaxel, cisplatin, docetaxel and so on. Different combinations of drugs or combined radiotherapy or immunotherapy can be adopted according to the condition. 3. Radiotherapy: Radiotherapy is a kind of treatment that can effectively prolong the survival of patients, mainly targeting local lesions, and can be combined with chemotherapy to improve the cure rate. 4. Targeted therapy: the introduction of targeted therapy has greatly prolonged the survival of patients with advanced unresectable lungs, but the mutation rate of sensitive genes in patients with squamous lung cancer is relatively low, so only some patients can adopt targeted therapy. 5. Immunotherapy: Immunotherapy mainly targets advanced non-resectable squamous lung cancer patients, and it can be single-agent treatment or combined with chemotherapy. Commonly used drugs include pembrolizumab, nabulizumab, karelizumab and so on. Patients suffering from squamous cell carcinoma are recommended to go to the hospital as early as possible, complete relevant laboratory tests, accurately assess the clinical staging and consult professional doctors to formulate scientific treatment.
