Analysis of cardiovascular complications in chronic renal failure

Abstract】Objective To investigate the cardiovascular complications of chronic renal failure (CRF) and their TCM evidence distribution. Methods Through clinical research, we investigated and analyzed the patterns of primary illness, TCM evidence patterns and evil and actual concurrent evidence in patients with cardiovascular complications of CRF. Results The overall incidence of cardiovascular complications in non-dialysis CRF patients was 41.51%, among which the proportions of chronic glomerulonephritis CRF, hypertensive nephropathy CRF, and diabetic nephropathy CRF complicated by cardiovascular disease were 26.62%, 6.92%, and 5.45%, respectively; the incidence of cardiovascular complications gradually increased with the deterioration of renal function, and there was a positive statistical correlation; The prevalence of cardiovascular complications in CRF with hypertension and CRF with diabetic nephropathy was 64.71% and 60.47%, respectively; there was no significant difference in the prevalence of cardiovascular complications in CRF patients between males and females. cardiovascular complications in CRF were most common in the spleen-kidney-yang deficiency type (87.50%), and the total proportion of patients with both evidence of evil and real (dampness and stasis) was 92.93%. The conclusion suggests that the pathogenesis of CRF cardiovascular complications is based on the transformation pattern of CRF, which eventually forms a pathological state of Yang weakness and Yin string, with the original deficiency and the symptoms of actuality, while the progression of the disease is accelerated and induced by evil realities such as stasis, dampness and toxicity.
