Cardamom is the fruit of cardamom, a perennial herb in the ginger family. As a kind of traditional Chinese medicine, it has the effects of resolving dampness and moving qi, warming the spleen and stomach to stop vomiting (treating vomiting caused by stomach cold by warming the spleen and stomach), and appetizing and eliminating food. 1. Warming and stopping vomiting: Cardamom is warm in nature, warming the middle of the body, resolving dampness and eliminating fatigue. It is generally used for nausea, chest tightness, vomiting and fatigue caused by cold and dampness. 2. Appetizing and eliminating food: it can relieve symptoms such as anorexia, severe regurgitation and indigestion. 3. Resolving dampness and promoting circulation of Qi: It is used in treating dampness obstructing the spleen and stomach and evidence of stagnation of Qi in the spleen and stomach. Caution should be exercised in cases of yin deficiency and blood dryness (deficiency of yin fluid and dryness and heat in the blood). The use of cardamom needs to follow the formula of traditional Chinese medicine, do not self-medication, so as not to cause adverse reactions.
