Causes of Acne Formation

The formation of acne may be related to excessive secretion of androgens, abnormal keratinization of sebaceous glands, microbial infections, and bad lifestyle habits.
1. Excessive secretion of androgens: Increased levels of androgens will make the body’s sebaceous glands function vigorously, resulting in the secretion of large amounts of oil, excessive oil will block the pores to form acne.
2. Abnormal keratinization of sebaceous glands: Abnormal keratinization of sebaceous glands in the hair follicles will lead to blockage of the ducts, which in turn will lead to acne if the oil is not eliminated properly.
3. Microbial infections: The most common bacterial infection that causes acne is Acinetobacter, which can trigger chronic inflammation of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles, resulting in acne.
4. Bad habits: Many bad habits can also trigger acne, such as eating high sugar, spicy and greasy foods; staying up late and overworking for a long time; and not cleaning the skin properly.
Patients with excessive and recurring acne should go to the hospital and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment.
