Neonatal ischemic-hypoxic encephalopathy with arachnoid hemorrhage may be moderate or severe and needs to be judged according to the presentation of the newborn. Neonatal ischemic-hypoxic encephalopathy is classified as mild, moderate or severe according to the neonate’s consciousness, muscle tone, changes in primitive reflexes, the presence or absence of convulsions, the course of the disease and the prognosis. The main symptoms of the moderate degree include lethargy, decreased muscle tone, diminished primitive reflexes, which may be accompanied by convulsions, and the duration of the disease is about 14 days, which may leave sequelae. In addition to coma, loss of reflexes, persistent convulsions, etc., the severe degree has a high mortality rate and many sequelae. If the arachnoid hemorrhage does not have venous rupture, there may be no clinical symptoms; if vascular rupture occurs, recurrent central apnea, convulsions, and coma may occur. Immediate hospitalization of the neonate is recommended for professional evaluation in the hospital.
