Different sulfonylureas have their own characteristics and it is impossible to say directly which one is the best. Sulfonylurea hypoglycemic drugs are mainly used for non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus with unsatisfactory efficacy of dietary control alone, in which the patient’s beta pancreatic islet cells have certain insulin secretion function. Skin irritation, gastrointestinal upset, drowsiness, neuralgia, jaundice and liver damage can also occur.
