Early stage lung cancer can be cured by surgery, experts warn: prevention is important

Many friends may notice a common problem that some people are already in the middle and late stages once they are found to have lung cancer. Indeed, related experts said that 80% of common lung cancer patients are in the middle and late stages, because early symptoms are hidden and not easy to detect, which are often ignored by people. Ms. Zhang, who lives in the 12th Mission, is 54 years old and was found to have two small shadows in her lungs during the health checkup organized by her unit not long ago, which made her lose her appetite during the day and sleepless at night. Ms. Zhang, accompanied by her family, came to the First Division Hospital for consultation and treatment. On March 17, Ms. Zhang was admitted to the First Division Hospital for detailed examination. After determining the lung nodule, Dr. Luo Shibing of CT NMR Department placed a localization wire under CT guidance for Ms. Zhang and locked a nodule of 1.2 cm in diameter in her left lung. The mass was then successfully removed by a thoracic surgeon under thoracoscopy along the localization guidewire. Currently, the patient is recovering well and has been discharged from the hospital after surgery. Doctors remind that early diagnosis is one of the very important methods, so health checkup is important for everyone. CT scan can timely and accurately detect early small nodules in the lung, which plays an important role in early detection of lung cancer. People who are long-term smokers, people over 40 years old, and people with family history of lung cancer should preferably include CT scan examination of lung as a mandatory item while undergoing normal physical examination in order to detect small nodules in lung in a timely and accurate manner. If symptoms such as chest pain, coughing, unexplained blood in sputum, weight loss and weight loss occur, it is important to seek medical attention in time to avoid missing the best time for treatment due to malignant diseases such as lung cancer.
