How to treat cholecystitis and gallstones at the same time

Gallbladder inflammation and gallbladder stones occurring at the same time is known as stone gallbladder inflammation, and stone gallbladder inflammation includes non-surgical treatment and surgical treatment. The former includes oral medication and intravenous infusion treatment. Oral medication includes anti-inflammatory and cholagogic tablets, bile relief tablets, bile nourishing tablets and other proprietary Chinese medicines, which are mainly used for stone cholecystitis caused by damp heat in the liver and gallbladder. For more painful and febrile cases of stone cholecystitis, it is usually necessary to treat them with infusions of anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective and antispasmodic drugs, such as ceftriaxone, glycopyrrolate, and scopolamine hydrochloride. Currently, however, surgical treatment is preferred for stony cholecystitis, and non-surgical treatment can also be used as an adjunct before surgical treatment. Surgical treatment is particularly indicated for patients with recurrent acute cholecystitis or those who have developed gallbladder atrophy. The earlier the surgery, the less risky and less difficult it is, and especially within 72 hours, laparoscopic surgery has a higher chance of success. If conservative treatment is not effective and the patient cannot tolerate surgery, cholecystocentesis or cholecystostomy can be considered first, and then cholecystectomy can be considered at an elective stage.
