What are the classifications of cholecystitis? We all know that acute cholecystitis is mostly caused by bile duct blockage and bacterial invasion. In the development of acute inflammation of the gallbladder, it can be divided into the following types: 1. Acute simple cholecystitis which is the lightest type, mainly manifested by congestion and edema of the gallbladder wall and loss of mucosal epithelial cells, but the bacterial culture is mostly negative. At this time, patients generally have no obvious complications, and most patients can be cured by conservative treatment. 2, acute purulent cholecystitis at this time, the edema of the gallbladder wall is obviously aggravated, the obstruction of the gallbladder duct leads to obvious enlargement of the gallbladder, the generation of pus in the gallbladder, the plasma membrane of the gallbladder is dark red, the surface of the gallbladder can have purulent fibrin-like deposits, the large omentum of the body can wrap the gallbladder to avoid the spread of infection throughout the abdominal cavity. At this stage, the patient can show increased pain in the right upper abdomen, and the body temperature can rise significantly up to 39℃. 3, acute gangrenous cholecystitis at this time, the gallbladder is extremely dilated, the gallbladder plasma membrane can be black changes, because the gallbladder swelling can cause ischemic gangrene of the gallbladder wall, gallbladder stones in the gallbladder continuous compression of the gallbladder wall can aggravate the necrosis of the gallbladder wall, and eventually lead to gallbladder perforation. Complications such as diffuse peritonitis, portal phlebitis, and even sepsis can occur in patients at this stage. This stage often requires emergency surgical treatment.
