It is mainly used for treating headache, vertigo, stroke, heat stroke and sore throat. It can also be used to treat nasal diseases such as nasal itching, nasal pain, and inability to smell fragrance and odor. In modern clinics, it is often used to treat heatstroke, tonsil inflammation, chronic rhinitis and pharyngitis. The acupoint can be taken in a sitting or supine position, with the head slightly tilted back, fully exposing the nostril area and finding the mucous membrane at the junction of the nasal cartilage and turbinate. It should be noted that it is contraindicated in patients with bleeding phenomenon or hypertension. Moxibustion treatment is prohibited.
