General therapy, drug therapy and physical therapy can be used to treat generalized pustular psoriasis.
1. General treatment: patients should avoid the factors that cause or aggravate generalized pustular psoriasis, pay attention to keep the mood happy, pay attention to rest, avoid exertion, do a good job of keeping warm, avoid upper respiratory tract infections, and at the same time also pay attention to the diet of light, do not eat spicy and stimulating food.
2. Medication:
(1) Topical medication: because generalized pustular psoriasis is a more serious type of psoriasis, so for patients in the acute stage, they should follow the doctor’s instructions to use boric acid solution and compound cypress liquid wet compresses on the pustules, and give glucocorticosteroid preparation such as tretinoin ointment to the local erythematous spots; and for the local dryness and flaking, the patients can cooperate with the vitamin E milk to keep the skin moisturizing milk.
(2) Oral medication: for patients with poor external drug treatment, methotrexate, cyclosporine and other immunosuppressants, avitamin A capsules, etc.; if other drugs have poor therapeutic effect, enasipro, staurosporine monoclonal antibody and other biologics can be used. If the high fever does not go down, glucocorticoid therapy can be used as appropriate.
3. Physical therapy: red and blue light can be used to irradiate the pustules to reduce the inflammatory reaction, promote the pustules to dry up and crust, and reduce the symptoms.
