Calf and stomach pain in menopausal women may be related to osteoporosis, venous stasis or calf muscle strain. 1. Osteoporosis: Osteoporosis occurs in menopausal women due to the decline in ovarian function causing a decrease in the level of estrogen secretion, and the lack of estrogen increases bone resorption, leading to rapid loss of bone mass, which results in osteoporosis. Osteoporosis will cause pain in the lower legs and joints of the whole body, and it is easy to fracture. 2. Local venous stasis: Varicose veins in lower limbs of menopausal women cause venous reflux obstruction leading to local venous stasis, which causes local soreness and pain. 3. Calf muscle strain: due to excessive fatigue of calf muscles caused by walking, exercising or squatting for a long time, calf muscle fatigue fasciitis occurs. If menopausal women have calf pain, they must go to the regular hospital for examination and follow the doctor’s instructions to deal with the treatment after clarifying the cause of the disease.
