Women’s frequent urination at night may be caused by physiological factors or pathologic factors, such as bladder pathology, other urinary tract diseases, diabetes, etc.
1. Physiological reasons: for example, drinking more water at night before going to bed, or consuming more fruits, it will cause more urination at night. Or due to their own urination habits, if women are used to having 1~2 times of urination at night, this is also a normal phenomenon.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) Bladder lesions: for example, interstitial cystitis, obstructive lesions of bladder outlet, bladder cancer, bladder foreign body, overactive bladder disease and other diseases can cause increased urination at night.
(2) Other urinary system diseases: For example, urinary system infections, urinary system stones and other diseases can also have symptoms such as urinary urgency and frequency, usually accompanied by painful symptoms.
(3) Diabetes: diabetic patients are characterized by excessive drinking, eating and urinating, so women who urinate too often at night can’t rule out that it’s caused by diabetes.
In addition to the above factors, it may also be caused by other reasons, it is recommended to seek medical treatment in time for standardized treatment.
