The difference between Danqi Tablets and Compound Danshen Tablets is mainly reflected in three aspects, namely, composition of ingredients, specific efficacy and specific action.
1. Dan Qi Tablet is mainly composed of two Chinese herbs, Dan Shen and Panax ginseng, while Compound Dan Shen Tablet has one more Chinese herb than Dan Qi Tablet, i.e., it is composed of Dan Shen, Panax ginseng and ice tablet.
2. The effect of Dan Qi Tablet is to activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis (promoting blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis in the body), whereas Compound Dan Shen Tablet has one more flavor of ice tablet in its composition, so Compound Dan Shen Tablet not only activates blood circulation and removes blood stasis, but also regulates qi and relieves pain (relieving pain by unblocking qi channels).
3. Danqi Tablet has the function of improving cardiothoracic paralyzing pain caused by blood stasis and qi stagnation, dizziness and headache, abdominal pain during menstruation and other conditions. Compound Danshen Tablet is used for the treatment of chest paralysis caused by Qi stagnation and blood stasis (stagnation of blood due to lack of smooth flow of Qi), which is characterized by tightness in the chest, stabbing pain in the precordial region, and angina pectoris of coronary heart disease when the above symptoms are seen.
The adverse reactions and contraindications of Dan Qi Tablets and Compound Danshen Tablets are not clear.
