Chromosomal abnormalities in both spouses are not treatable. Chromosomal disorders are not treatable by the current state of medical care. There are many types of chromosomal disorders with different manifestations, including autosomal disorders, sex chromosome disorders, and mitochondrial chromosome disorders. Common chromosomal disorders include Down syndrome, which is congenital stupidity, trisomy 18, trisomy 13, cat-call syndrome, and microdeletion syndrome. The manifestations of chromosomal disorders vary, and commonly include mental retardation, growth retardation, etc. Abnormalities in embryonic chromosomes are also a common cause of early miscarriage. Although the current medical level cannot change the human chromosomes to cure chromosomal disorders, effective prenatal testing, such as amniocentesis, cord blood sampling, non-invasive DNA, and the most commonly used Down’s syndrome screening, can significantly and effectively reduce the probability of a child with chromosomal disorders being born.
