The full name of the bile meridian is Foot Shaoyang Bile Meridian, which is located on the lateral side of the head, face, trunk, and lower limbs of the human body. It starts from the outer corner of the eye, goes upward to the frontal corner, downward to the back of the ear, from the side of the neck, through the shoulder, into the supraclavicular fossa, and goes straight to the armpit, along the lateral side of the chest and abdomen, and meets with the outer corner of the eye branch meridian at the hip joint, and then travels downward along the middle line of the lateral side of the lower limbs, through the ankle and along the dorsal part of the foot to the lateral end of the fourth toe of the foot.
The Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian treats diseases of the head, ears, eyes, pharynx and throat, psychosomatic diseases and other diseases in the area where the meridian circulates, such as bitter taste in the mouth, dizziness, cold and heat, headache, jaw pain, pain in the outer canthus of the eye and pain in the thorax, the dorsum, the femur, and the outer part of the lower limbs.
