What’s wrong with bleeding eyes?

Eye hemorrhage may be subconjunctival hemorrhage, anterior chamber hemorrhage, vitreous hemorrhage, and retinal hemorrhage, etc. The specific causes are different, and may include ocular trauma, foreign body irritation, and rupture of neovascularization.
1. Subconjunctival hemorrhage: Subconjunctival hemorrhage is mainly caused by the rupture of small blood vessels on the surface of the eyeball, which is commonly seen in ocular trauma, foreign body irritation, constipation and so on. If the patient’s coagulation function is abnormal, subconjunctival hemorrhage can also occur after rubbing the eyes with force.
2. Anterior chamber hemorrhage: anterior chamber hemorrhage is usually related to ocular trauma and stimulation, and can also be seen in iris neovascularization rupture, etc. Patients may experience vision loss, increased intraocular pressure and other uncomfortable symptoms.
3. Vitreous hemorrhage: Vitreous hemorrhage can be caused by rupture of retinal aneurysm, eye trauma, etc., and patients may suffer from vision loss.
4. Retinal hemorrhage: eye bleeding may also be retinal hemorrhage, which is mainly caused by retinopathy, such as diabetes, hypertension and other causes of retinopathy and retinal neovascularization.
It is recommended that patients with bleeding eyes consult a doctor to assess their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
