Three abnormalities of sleep in the early stage of lung cancer

Generally, most patients with early stage lung cancer do not have obvious specific symptoms, and most of them are found when taking chest X-ray or doing chest radiography. However, some patients may have non-specific symptoms such as cough, bloody sputum, chest pain, fever and shortness of breath, which may affect their sleep and mainly lead to three sleep abnormalities such as insomnia, night terrors and excessive dreaming: 1. Insomnia: it may be difficult to fall asleep due to difficulty in breathing, or wake up after falling asleep due to shortness of breath or cough, and wake up again with difficulty in sleeping. Early awakening insomnia may also occur, which seriously affects the quality of sleep. 2. Night terrors: due to coughing, shortness of breath or poor breathing, etc., patients may be awakened in their sleep, with straight eyes, shortness of breath, increased heart rate, restlessness, etc., and will fall asleep again after relief. 3. etc. After waking up, symptoms such as emotional tension, palpitations and cold sweat will appear. In addition to abnormal sleep, if cough or other respiratory symptoms occur for more than two weeks and are not cured after treatment, especially if there is bloody sputum, dry cough, or the existing respiratory symptoms are aggravated, etc., it is recommended to go to hospital for examination in time to exclude the possibility of lung cancer.
