Herbal remedies for rhinitis

Rhinitis is caused by congestion and edema of the nasal mucosa, resulting in nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and even allergic conjunctivitis and asthma. Therefore, the main treatment for rhinitis is to reduce the congestion and edema of the nasal mucosa. Commonly used herbs include astragalus, forsythia, salvia, caryophyllum, fishy grass, pungent, chrysanthemum, peppermint and ephedra. If nasal secretions are more frequent, avoid blowing the nose hard and use physiological sea saline to rinse the nasal cavity. The symptoms of rhinitis will be relieved by standardized medication for at least two weeks, as well as avoiding staying up late and smoking and drinking alcohol.
