Can you cure rhinitis by smoking?

Smoking does not cure rhinitis, but rather aggravates it, clinically, mainly in the following areas. 1. When patients smoke, the smoke contains a large amount of nicotine, tar and other toxic substances, which are very damaging to the cilia system of the nasal mucosa, resulting in poor cilia function, so that nasal secretions cannot be discharged normally, thus causing a large accumulation of secretions in the nasal cavity, affecting the patient’s nose. 2. Cigarettes may contain allergenic substances which, when inhaled into the nasal cavity, can easily induce allergic rhinitis, thus aggravating the symptoms of rhinitis. In short, smoking will not only not cure rhinitis but will only make it worse.
