How to take care of your gallbladder after removal

  Surgery for gallbladder stones and cholecystitis, then how to take care of the gallbladder after surgery and what to pay attention to in terms of diet?  At present, laparoscopic minimally invasive treatment is preferred for gallbladder removal, which has the advantages of less trauma and faster postoperative recovery compared with traditional open surgery. For patients with abdominal drains, attention should be paid to disinfection of the drains and keeping the drains open.  Secondly, patients should be encouraged to get out of bed early after surgery. Laparoscopic surgery generally encourages patients to get out of bed within 24 hours after surgery, and after 24 hours, to promote incision healing and avoid lower limb thrombosis.  Once again, patients after gallbladder surgery can eat warm water, rice soup and other liquid diet after anal venting, and can eat noodles, steamed bread, thin porridge, vegetables and other semi-liquid food after defecation. Many patients tend to interpret a light diet as a low-salt diet, and a prolonged low-salt diet can cause hypokalemia.  Finally, patients can take a shower 1 week after surgery, and it is not recommended to do strenuous exercises such as running and fitness within 2 months after surgery to avoid affecting the healing of the incision.
