What are the creams for phlebitis

Ointments for phlebitis generally include Xylitol or sodium heparin ointment, both of which promote the dissolution of superficial vein thrombosis and inhibit the inflammatory response, as well as providing pain relief. In general, when superficial phlebitis occurs, it takes 2-3 weeks to obtain a significant therapeutic effect. If the superficial phlebitis is caused by infusion of medication that irritates the lining of the blood vessel, or by external force, such as extrusion or impact that causes damage to the lining of the blood vessel, this kind of phlebitis is usually not serious, and it will be absorbed gradually with the prolongation of time. However, if the superficial phlebitis is recurrent or systemic, further examination should be performed to determine whether the patient has vasculitis and immune vasculitis, which requires additional drug therapy.
