How to see if it’s a boy or a girl on a 4D ultrasound

4D ultrasound can only determine the sex of the fetus by ultrasound observation of the shape of the external genitalia.

Four-dimensional ultrasound is to observe the fetus in the uterus in all directions through ultrasound penetration, and can promptly discover whether there are structural abnormalities or developmental abnormalities in the fetus, and at the same time measure the head circumference, abdominal circumference, biparietal diameter, femur length, placenta, amniotic fluid, and other indexes of the fetus, and assess its growth and development.

4D ultrasound can observe the genitals of the fetus, but in our country the law explicitly prohibits the identification of the gender of the fetus for non-medical needs, so usually doctors will erase the images related to the gender of the fetus in the report.

During pregnancy, it is recommended that pregnant women go to regular hospitals for checkups and should not undergo fetal sex identification for non-medical needs.
