Multiple echogenic areas in the cervix, also known as nuchal cysts, are a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. They are cysts that are formed when fluid is trapped in the glandular ducts that are blocked during the healing process of cervicitis or as a result of injury. If the patient does not have clinical symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge or contact bleeding, it can be observed. If the cyst is large and affects sexual life or is accompanied by an increase in discharge, physical therapy is required if necessary. However, before the operation, routine cervical cancer screening should be performed, including TCT and HPV screening, and the operation can only be performed after the cervical screening result is negative.
