Patients with advanced stage of pancreatic cancer may have symptoms such as decreased appetite, generalized yellow stain, emaciation, waist and abdominal pain, ascites and so on. 1. Decreased appetite: when pancreatic cancer is in advanced stage, it may also exert pressure on the stomach and duodenum, thus affecting the patient’s appetite, and in serious cases, it may even cause the patient to be unable to eat. 2. Generalized yellow stain: if the tumor is in the head of pancreas, there may be compressive changes in the late stage, which may press on the common bile duct and lead to generalized yellow stain. 3. Wasting: pancreatic cancer may cause blockage of pancreatic duct in early stage, which affects the function of pancreas. Therefore, patients with advanced pancreatic cancer are generally thin and have poor nutritional status. 4. Lumbar and abdominal pain: when pancreatic cancer is in advanced stage, the cancer cells are prone to metastasis and invasion of retroperitoneal nerves, and the patients may suffer from persistent and persistent low back pain, which is usually more intense. If the tumor is located in the tail part of pancreatic body, it may also cause the patient to have posterior abdominal compression and then pain. 5. Ascites: pancreatic cancer may also lead to ascites if peritoneal metastasis occurs, and the tumor ascites may be bloody ascites. Due to individual differences, the symptom performance of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer may be different. Patients with advanced pancreatic cancer are still recommended to actively cooperate with the treatment, which can reduce the pain of patients to a certain extent and prolong the survival time.
