At present, many patients with hepatitis B have the need for antiviral treatment, but the uploaded tests and labs do not give the doctor sufficient clinical information, which affects the evaluation of the patient’s condition and treatment guidance. It is recommended that patients provide the following information during the first consultation: 1. recent liver function (results of multiple tests within 1 year); 2. recent HBV DNA and hepatitis B marker results; 3. recent abdominal ultrasound results; 4. previous medications, especially antiviral drugs and immunomodulatory drugs; 5. liver pathology is more helpful for antiviral guidance.
