How to treat stage II cervical cancer

Cervical cancer is a kind of common malignant tumor in female gynecology. Stage II cervical cancer is still in the middle stage and early stage, so surgery can be considered as a treatment, which consists of total hysterectomy plus bilateral adnexectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection. Surgery for stage II cervical cancer can usually achieve radical effect, but in order to prevent recurrence and metastasis after surgery, it is recommended to have at least 4-6 courses of adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery. If there is lymph node metastasis or the degree of malignancy is relatively high, adjuvant radiotherapy can also be done, but generally surgery and postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy are the mainstay. Early stage of cervical cancer mainly shows contact vaginal bleeding, once this symptom occurs, we must pay attention to it, and do colposcopic biopsy to confirm whether there is cervical cancer or not. Early detection and early treatment are very important for prolonging the survival period.
