Systemic lupus erythematosus should take standardized treatment, common general treatment, drug treatment, etc. Commonly used drugs are prednisone, cyclophosphamide, azathioprine and so on. 1. General treatment: SLE patients should pay attention to sufficient rest and avoid exertion during the active period of the disease, and they can work properly after the disease is relieved. They should also avoid consuming hormone-containing drugs and avoid sunlight and ultraviolet radiation. 2. Drug therapy: There are common treatments for mild SLE and drugs that damage important organs. (1) Mild systemic lupus erythematosus: the symptoms are mild, with dermatitis, arthritis and other symptoms. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin and ibuprofen can be used to control arthritis; anti-malarial drugs can be used to control skin rashes and alleviate photosensitivity, commonly chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine. (2) Damage to vital organs: use prednisone to treat SLE during its active stage, and intravenous methylprednisolone if there is a crisis. It can also be combined with immunosuppressant therapy to reduce organ damage and recurrence, such as methotrexate, cyclophosphamide, azathioprine, etc. SLE patients are advised to consult the doctor in time and take treatment under the doctor’s guidance. During the treatment period, the medication should be given in sufficient quantity and in sufficient courses, and private medication should be avoided. Regular checkups should be conducted on a daily basis to monitor the changes in the condition.
