Diabetic ketosis symptoms

The symptoms of diabetic ketoacidosis include dizziness, blurred vision, weakness, drowsiness, coma, cold extremities, decreased skin temperature, and abdominal pain. Elevated blood glucose concentration leads to accelerated fat metabolism in the body, which can cause ketoacidosis. The most obvious symptom is that the patient has symptoms of impaired consciousness, coma and drowsiness, and needs to seek medical treatment in time. In the later stages, cyanosis may occur because the patient has difficulty in breathing, resulting in lower oxygen levels and higher carbon dioxide concentrations, causing external skin changes, which require timely ventilation. Decreased urine output may also occur due to substantial kidney damage caused by the disease. Patients with acidosis need to be treated promptly, and insulin injections to restore electrolyte balance can help save the patient and facilitate recovery.
