Children’s tongue pain may be caused by ulcers, candida infection, papillitis of the tongue and other diseases, as follows.

2. Candida infection: acute pseudomembranous Candida stomatitis is most common in children, manifested as dry mouth, burning discomfort, mild pain.
3. Tongue papillitis: bacterial papillitis inflammation when the papilla is swollen, congested, burning, with pain and discomfort.
