How Breast Piercing is Done

Breast puncture refers to the diagnosis or treatment of disease by puncturing a lesion in the breast through a syringe or a puncture needle. The main steps include localization, disinfection, anesthesia, puncture sampling and pathological examination. 1. Localization: Through ultrasound and other imaging modalities, the breast lesion is localized, which can enhance the accuracy of puncture. 2. Sterilization: let the patient keep the proper position, sterilize the breast, the sterilization range should be more than 15cm, after sterilization, spread the sterile towel in time, in order to ensure the smooth operation of aseptic operation. 3. Anesthesia: local anesthesia is usually used for breast puncture, but if the effect of individual local anesthesia is not good, other anesthesia can also be used. 4. Puncture sampling: use the puncture needle to align the puncture point that has been positioned, rapid puncture sampling, sampling process should be rapid and gentle. After successful sampling, the puncture needle should be removed in time and the puncture site should be hemostatized. 5. Pathological examination: after the completion of puncture sampling, the pathological tissues should be sent for examination in time. After breast puncture surgery, it is necessary to take care of the puncture wound, disinfect and dress it at regular intervals, and avoid touching the wound to prevent it from becoming infected.
