B-positive blood is not a panda blood type. B-positive blood means B blood belonging to the ABO blood group system, which expresses antigen B on the surface of human red blood cell membranes, so it belongs to B blood type. Positive blood means Rh-positive blood in the Rh blood group system, which refers to human red blood cell membrane surface expressing rhesus D antigen, so it is called Rh-positive blood. Most Han and ethnic minorities in China belong to Rh-positive blood, while panda blood refers to Rh-negative blood in the Rh blood group system. Because less than 1% of people in China belong to Rh-negative blood, this blood type is particularly rare, which is why it is called the panda blood type.
