Almost every patient with psoriasis raises the question about avoiding eating, but the answers vary from doctor to doctor, leaving the patient often at a loss. Since the causes of psoriasis have not been fully elucidated by modern medicine, there is no clear answer to this question. However, many doctors still advise patients to pay attention to their diet. From personal point of view and feedback from patients, it is still necessary for psoriasis patients to “avoid eating”, especially alcohol, seafood, poultry, beef, mutton and donkey meat, etc. Strict attention should be paid. Fruits, vegetables, soy products and pork can be eaten without fear or hesitation. Studies conducted by Anhui Medical University in China have also confirmed the importance of “avoiding food”. Its analysis of 646 cases of psoriasis patients diagnosed with dietary records concluded that: 1. Drinking alcohol, food allergy, eating animal oil and eating fatty meat are dietary risk factors for psoriasis; eating sweets, eating lean meat and eating vegetable oil may prevent the occurrence of psoriasis. 2. Drinking alcohol, eating animal oil and eating fatty meat are risk factors for the occurrence of psoriasis in men; eating fish and shrimp and food allergy differ in men and women with psoriasis. Drinking tea, eating salted vegetables, soybean products, egg products, eating vegetables and fruits are not related to the occurrence of psoriasis. In contrast, eating fish and shrimp, fatty meat, eating animal oil, drinking alcohol and food allergy induced psoriasis.
