About daily protection against psoriasis

There is a consensus that psoriasis is a physical and mental disease. Therefore, as a patient in daily life should be protected from many aspects to reduce the factors that trigger and aggravate the disease. 1, mental factors. In real life, it is common to see examples of psoriasis triggered by various psychological factors such as mental tension, work strain, emotional depression, interpersonal relationships and conflict of interest. More and more facts prove that mental trauma can induce or aggravate psoriasis. Patients are prone to psychological disorders after getting the disease, have a sense of inferiority and feel that people around them avoid them, and over time, patients are prone to depression and self-loathing, which will certainly worsen their condition. On the contrary, if the patient is in a happy mood, the improvement of the disease will be accelerated. Patients must realize that psoriasis is not contagious and will not endanger others, and will not have any hindrance to family and society. We have no reason to discriminate against psoriasis patients, we should care about psoriasis patients and create a relaxed and psychologically healthy social environment for them. 2, research shows that climate is an important factor in the development of psoriasis that cannot be ignored. Most psoriasis patients are prone to relapse and aggravation in the autumn and winter seasons; the condition is relieved or naturally recedes in the summer. Some patients also experience an increase in skin lesions in summer. Therefore, the north is a high incidence area for psoriasis due to its cold climate. Winter is colder and drier, and sweating is generally less and people take fewer baths, thus not conducive to skin cleansing and thus aggravating the rash. For this reason, patients should pay attention to keeping warm in winter, avoid getting cold, and properly adjust the humidity in the city to prevent too dry; take regular baths to keep the skin clean. 3, for patients with common psoriasis, they should generally bathe regularly and wash once a day with warm water. And patients with erythrodermic psoriasis should not bathe too often. It can be once a week, the water temperature should not be too high, otherwise it will aggravate the disease. Pustular patients can bathe with potassium permanganate or starch.
