Can self-assessment of new crown antigens replace nucleic acid testing?

Neocoronavirus antigen self-testing is not a substitute for nucleic acid testing. Antigen self-testing is designed to detect whether or not you are infected with Neocoronavirus, and if you show a positive result, you need to improve your nucleic acid test in time. The advantages of antigen self-testing are that it is convenient and the results come back faster, but the disadvantage is that it is less accurate than nucleic acid testing. Nucleic acid test is more accurate, probably can reach more than 95%, the possibility of error is relatively small, the disadvantage is that the operation is troublesome, the results come out slower, can not be operated by yourself. However, doing antigen self-testing cannot replace nucleic acid testing. If the nucleic acid test is positive and the antigen self-test result is negative, it needs to be treated as a new coronavirus infection. If the nucleic acid test is negative and the antigen self-test is positive, the infection will also be treated as a new coronavirus infection and the nucleic acid test will have to be repeated. Positive nucleic acid or antigenic self-tests should be reported promptly, and isolation prophylaxis and treatment measures should be taken to prevent the spread of the virus.
