What is a glioma of the head

Glioma is a malignant tumor that grows in the head, but of course there are different levels of malignancy in this malignant tumor. The treatment principles and methods for low-grade and high-grade gliomas are different. Low-grade gliomas can be surgically removed, while high-grade gliomas are difficult to be radically removed surgically and can only be treated with palliative radiotherapy and chemotherapy. After surgery, low-grade glioma can be treated with a watchful waiting strategy without radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Glioma is a very heterogeneous tumor and needs to be treated differently.
