In recent years, the World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended a rationalized and comprehensive treatment plan for allergic diseases: symptomatic treatment + allopathic treatment.
Symptomatic treatment generally uses antihistamines (e.g., loratadine), hormones, etc., which can control symptoms for a short period of time, but they tend to recur. The use of such drugs is more harmful than beneficial to the body.
The allopathic treatment is specific immunotherapy. Generally, allergenic proteins are used, and they do not have a good effect within a short period of time alone. The general course of treatment is 2-3 years, and the effect time is 2-3 months, so the patient is required to have patience. Such drugs are protein-based and are certainly safe for the body.
Between the characteristics of the two treatment modalities of appeal, the combination of the two treatment modalities is really appropriate for the treatment of allergic diseases.
In March last year, our department started to use allopathic treatment + allopathic treatment to open a specialty of allergic rhinitis, which is run by me every Monday afternoon. Now there are more than 200 cases of allergic rhinitis patients under treatment, and each patient is given a set of systematic treatment that is most suitable for him. We welcome allergic rhinitis patients to come for consultation and treatment. My regular clinic hours: Monday afternoon (general), Tuesday all day (specialist)
