Indications: Intravertebral tumors, mainly for neurofibromas, in addition to some other intravertebral tumors. Advantages compared with traditional surgery: (1) Less muscle damage, half of the muscle tissue next to the spinous process is separated (traditional surgery requires incision and separation of bilateral muscles); (2) The spinous process is not occluded, only half of the vertebral plate is abraded, which does not affect the stability of the lumbar spine (traditional surgery opens the spinal canal after occluding the spinous process, which increases the chance of distortion of the vertebral body in the long term); (3) Shorten the hospital stay and get out of bed earlier. Typical case: male, 28 years old, admitted with the complaint of “right-sided leg pain”, lumbar magnetic resonance suggests neurofibroma combined with cystic degeneration.
