How to treat acne on your child’s face

Pimples on a child’s face, generally referred to as acne, may also be related to folliculitis, skin allergies, eczema and other conditions, which need to be treated through life modification and the use of medication under the premise of clarifying the cause of the disease. 1. Acne: This is characterized by red, swollen rashes, pustules or nodules on the skin. Medications such as tazarotene cream and retinoic acid cream can be applied. Avoid spicy and stimulating food, go to bed early and get up early. 2. Folliculitis: There will be red, swollen and raised bumps on the face, with pus spots at the top of the bumps. Erythromycin ointment, fusidic acid cream and other antibiotics can be applied to the folliculitis area, and avoid squeezing the hair follicles. 3. Skin allergy: It may be caused by contact with certain allergens, and small red rashes with intense itching will appear on the skin. Oral loratadine tablets, vitamin C tablets and other medications can be taken to treat. 4. Eczema: small rashes will appear in succession, and when broken, yellow liquid will flow out and form yellow scabs. Eczema can be relieved by applying glycerine lotion on the eczema area and treated with oral medication such as cetirizine hydrochloride tablets and dicloxacillin tablets. Parents should bring their children to the doctor in time, strictly follow the doctor’s instructions, do a systematic examination and treatment, and avoid self-medication for their children.
