Compared with silicone implantation, breast reconstruction using autologous tissue has the following advantages: 1. more natural appearance and feel of the breast after surgery 2. aesthetic effect is less affected by radiotherapy 3. saving the cost of prosthesis. However, this surgical method is greatly affected by the patient’s own conditions, accompanied by the secondary damage to the organism in the process of obtaining tissue from the donor area. The commonly used autologous tissues are latissimus dorsi or rectus abdominis muscle flap. If the patient’s original breast volume is large, sometimes it is necessary to use autologous tissue reconstruction and implant combined with autologous tissue breast reconstruction to meet the amount of tissue needed for reconstruction. Different donor areas have different characteristics and are suitable for different patients. The choice of donor area is based on the patient’s individual condition during the actual treatment.
