How long does it take for a fertilized egg to form?

The formation of a fertilized egg takes about 24 hours under normal conditions. Normally the sperm and egg meet to form a fertilized egg and this process is the process of fertilization. The entire process of fertilization takes about 24 hours and begins when an energized sperm enters the zona pellucida of a secondary oocyte. The completion of the fertilization process is marked when the chromosomes of the two fuse together. It is known that the maximum survival time of a sperm is about 72 hours after discharge and the maximum survival time of an egg is about 24 hours after discharge, and when both the sperm and the egg are alive, there is a high probability that a fertilized egg will be formed. In addition, it should be noted that women should stop smoking and drinking during pregnancy preparation and take folic acid supplements.
