Chest paralysis (chest tightness and pain) is a concept in Chinese medicine, which is characterized by chest pain across the back, tightness and pain in the chest, and wheezing and inability to lie down. Heart-blood stasis and obstruction syndrome (insufficiency of qi in the heart, obstruction of blood circulation): pain in the heart and chest, such as stabbing and strangling, with a definite place of pain, which is worse at night, or even pain in the heart through the back, back pain through the heart, or pain in the shoulders and back, accompanied by tightness in the chest, which does not get better in a long time, and can be aggravated by anger and exertion. 3. Qi stagnation cardiothoracic syndrome (blockage of qi in the cardiothoracic area): cardiothoracic fullness, dullness, hidden pain paroxysm, pain in a fixed place, sometimes wanting to rest, easily triggered or aggravated in case of affective disorders (emotional upset), or with chest distension and stuffiness, belching (hiccups) or farting (farting), then comfortable, and so on. 4. Heart and kidney yin deficiency (deficiency of yin and fluid in the heart and kidneys): heart pain and stuffiness, palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, sweating stops after waking up), false annoyance (annoyance caused by heat in the body), insomnia, lumbar soreness and weakness of the knees, dizziness and tinnitus, and constipation with dry mouth, etc. Different clinical characteristics are also different.
