Iodine oil angiography precautions

Iodine oil imaging is a test to find out whether the fallopian tubes are open or not. Patients are required to go for the test 2-3 days after menstruation, which is the most accurate and safest time. Before the test, relevant examinations should be done, such as internal examination, white belt routine and gynecological ultrasound, etc. The test should be done only after all the examinations are passed. After the examination, the patient should not take a bath for two weeks and should not have intercourse. After the operation, antibiotics should be used for about three days for anti-inflammatory treatment, depending on which drug is prescribed. A small amount of bleeding is not a big problem, but if the amount is large or lasts for a long time, you need to seek medical attention. Since iodine oil imaging is a radiation test, it can cause some radiation to the body, so the patient should not prepare for pregnancy until three months after the test.
