HPV test is negative, but TCT test does show lesions. This is mainly because cervical cancer is mainly due to the persistent infection of high risk HPV in the cervix, but there are also localized lesions in the cervix caused by other viruses, but only a very small part of them for the time being, so there will be negative HPV but lesions in TCT. The final diagnosis depends on pathology. Colposcopy is used to find out if there are lesions in the cervical epithelium, and the pathology is sent for laboratory tests according to the degree of lesions.
