Cutting injuries to the hand mainly refer to injuries to the skin, subcutaneous tissues, and deeper tissues such as muscles and tendons of the hand, caused by cutting with sharp instruments. The most common causes of hand cuts are in daily life, such as cutting the hand with a knife when cutting vegetables, or cutting the hand with glass, porcelain, iron and other objects at work. The main manifestations of cut injuries are pain, bleeding, and hand dysfunction, which is mainly manifested by some sensory loss or disappearance, and poor hand mobility or inability to move. In severe cases, cuts can lead to necrosis of the hand, tissue disruption, and dismemberment of the fingers or hand.
