The tendon pain at the root of the thigh is considered to be ligament pain. When the ligaments appear painful in patches or facets and striations, you can appropriately limit the leg activities to avoid further ligament strain, and give physical therapy, hot compresses, acupuncture, massage, etc., and appropriate oral analgesic drugs, such as meloxicam or ibuprofen, to relieve the pain. Ligament strain, usually in about a month can be completely recovered, if the ligament damage is more serious, can give external fixation of the cast, prohibit the ground activities, but need to move the toes and ankle properly, to avoid the joint stiffness. After the cast is removed, proper functional exercise of the joint is needed to restore the damaged ligaments.
