Hidden pain in the right upper abdomen for more than 6 years, several times gastroscopy suggests chronic gastritis, according to the different types of chronic gastritis to give targeted treatment. The treatment includes general treatment, drug treatment, surgical treatment and so on.
1. Chronic non-atrophic gastritis
(1) Drug therapy: commonly used drugs include acid inhibitors, such as famotidine and omeprazole; gastric mucosa protection drugs, such as bismuth potassium citrate; and drugs to enhance gastric motility, such as mosapride.
(2) Dietary modification: Chronic non-atrophic gastritis without Helicobacter pylori infection generally does not require special treatment, and can be relieved through dietary modification, mostly light, easy-to-digest diets, avoiding spicy and stimulating food intake.
2. Chronic atrophic gastritis
(1) Pharmacological treatment: the eradication of Helicobacter pylori is the main focus. The commonly used clinical program to eradicate H. pylori is quadruple therapy, which is mainly proton pump inhibitor (such as omeprazole) + bismuth (such as aluminum sulfate) + two antibiotics (such as amoxicillin and clarithromycin). Those with abdominal distension can take metoclopramide or domperidone and other prokinetic drugs.
(2) Surgical treatment: For ineffective drug treatment, moderate or severe atypical hyperplasia (high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia), gastroscopic submucosal dissection is feasible when it is determined that there is no metastasis, with regular follow-up.
The appearance of the above diseases, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, early formal treatment. The above drugs are recommended to be used under the guidance of professional physicians.
