Etoricoxib is an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving drug that can be used to treat ankylosing spondylitis, but this drug is usually the one drug used to treat ankylosing spondylitis, not just it. Other drugs are often used clinically in combination, such as immunosuppressants, with methotrexate and salbutamol, or the usual subcutaneous injections of some biological agents, such as tumor necrosis factor antagonists. At present, the treatment of compulsory spondylitis can only be treated by some drugs or functional exercises, ankylosing spondylitis is temporarily incurable.
