Why hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is done to better define the cause, diagnosis and treatment. Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment technique commonly used in gynecology, with small trauma and fast recovery, doctors can visualize the situation in the uterus, and if necessary, can directly clip some pathological or abnormal tissues to send for pathological examination, as well as checking the tubes under the supervision of ultrasound. It is commonly used for abnormal uterine bleeding, submucosal fibroids or endometrial polyps, post-abortion uterine residue, infertility, uterine abnormalities and other diseases. However, contraindications such as vaginal and pelvic infections, excessive narrowness of the uterine cavity or hardness of the cervix, and recent perforation of the uterus are not allowed to do hysteroscopy. If you have any related discomfort symptoms, it is recommended that you go to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the hospital and follow the professional doctor’s guidance on whether or not to undergo a hysteroscopy.
