Closed pimples are generally referred to as whiteheads and are a type of acne. The causes of chin and forehead closed pimples may be due to inadequate local cleansing, exuberant secretion of oil, and elevated androgen levels.
1. Inadequate local cleansing: patients do not do a good job of facial cleansing, resulting in sebum, cosmetics, etc., blocking the skin pores, thus causing closed pimples, i.e. acne.
2. Excessive oil secretion of the skin: everyone’s skin condition is different, some people have excessive oil secretion of the skin, commonly known as oily skin, which will cause dead skin to fall off and clog pores, causing acne.
3. Elevated levels of androgens: Increased levels of androgens in the body can cause sebaceous glands to enlarge and sebum secretion to increase. The oil and the dead skin cells that come off clog the pores, resulting in the formation of acne.
Closed pimples on the chin and forehead may also be related to poor dietary habits. If acne appears to be expanding in scope, inflammation and other symptoms, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital for treatment under the guidance of a professional doctor.
